Bear had his first Easter and it was perfect! The Easter Bunny came and brought lots of treats and toys (and the bunny ears are courtesy of Aunt Jana)!
We woke up in the morning and Bear and I spent some time together while I started getting ready for church...he was in the best mood! Everyone else got up and got ready to go soon after (Caitlin couldn't make it because she had hurt her eye the day before during an Easter Egg Hunt). After church we all went home and changed for lunch. Casey and his girlfriend Jordan met us at the restaurant and Caitlin took her own car. We got to the restaurant and I assumed Caitlin went to the wrong restaurant because she had left before us and wasn't there yet...well, on the way there she managed to get in her first wreck. There is never a dull moment! Ryan was there to her rescue as always and he and Caitlin made it back to the restaurant in no time. Ryan and I have the uncanny ability to let pretty much anything go; therefore, lunch ended up being so much fun! Bear was in SUCH a great mood and Ryan, I and all the kids laughed and joked the entire time.
After lunch the big kids went off to be with their friends and Ryan and I went on a Sunday drive while Bear took his afternoon nap in the car. We made it home in time to visit with the kids some more and then play and play and play with Bear's new toys! The Easter Bunny knew just what Bear would like.
So far Bear has had all of his first's of my very favorite holiday's...his 1st Thanksgiving...his 1st Christmas...and now his 1st Easter...and it was perfect!!! I believe he loved it just as much as we did!!!
